There is no night without

a dawning,

No Winter without a Spring

And beyond death’s dark horizon

Our hearts once more will sing-

For those who leave us for

a while

Have only Gone Away

Out of a restless,

careworn world

Into a “Brighter day”

RV 49

Memorare.

Remember O Most compassionate Virgin Mary,

that never was it known that anyone who fled to

Thy Protection, implored Thy help, or sought Thy

intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this

confidence, I fly to Thee, O Virgin of virgins, my

Mother; to Thee I come, before Thee I kneel,

sinful and sorrowful, O Mother of the Word

Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in Thy

clemency graciously hear and answer me. Amen

RV 52

Don't grieve for me for now I'm free:

I'm following the path God laid

for me

I took His hand when I heard

Him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play,

Tasks left undone must stay

that way:

I found that peace at the close

of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy,

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;

Ah yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times

of sorrow;

I wish you the sunshine

of tomorrow,

My life's been full, I savoured much;

Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all

too brief;

Don't lengthen it now with

undue grief,

Lift up your heart and share

with me;

God wanted me now, He set

me free.

RV 53

. God saw you getting tired      And a cure was not to be,

So He put his arms around you

And whispered " Come to me".

With tearful eyes we watched you As you passed away,

Although we loved you dearly

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands at rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best

RV 54a

Remembering:

is the touch of a hand, the warmth of a smile, that little

word " Hello"

Remembering:

is in glad times and in bad times; in quiet hours together and telephone calls

Remembering:

is in friendship and thoughtfulness and in the hearts of very

special people

~ people like you

RV 53a

I said a prayer for you today

And know God must have heard;

I felt the answer in my heart  Although He spoke no word.

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame,

I knew you wouldn’t mind,

I asked Him to send treasures

Of a far more loving kind.

I asked that He’d be near you

At the start of each new day,

To grant you health and blessings  And friends to share the way.

I asked for happiness for you,

In all things great and small

But it was for His loving care

I prayed for most of all.
